A REVOLUTIONARY new Gold Coast vasectomy and anti- ageing clinic dedicated to men, is about to change the general perception and acceptance of both the day-surgery vasectomy procedure and men’s cosmetic  treatments.

Dr Chris Lekich from the METROCENTRE has set up the Coast’s first boutique surgery in the former Miami Medical Practice building at 2135 Gold Coast Highway.

Talking about vasectomy he says “men should take the initiative when it comes to deciding which partner should undergo definitive contraception.

“Some  female partners are not keen  to take the  oral contraceptive  pill due to their  concerns of blood clots, varicose veins  or strong family histories of  breast cancer,” he said.

Dr Lekich said he is keen for men to not only  feel good about their decision, but to feel happy and healthy on the day of treatment and afterwards. “There are many myths and untruths about vasectomies. Our clinic aims to demistify the procedure and offer men a pratical solution with minimal interruption to their lifestyles.”

Thirty nine-year-old Dr Lekich is a Queensland graduate who has trained at numerous centres  including Queensland, interstate and overseas and says that Aussie blokes are the best at dishing out  jokes to their mates who are about to undergo the vasectomy procedure, “What is interesting however is that alot of their mates que up and have the procedure when realizing how straight forward it is..

He has also a decade as an ophthalmic clinician working down an operating microscope involved in eye surgery.

“I suppose you can say I’ve been involved working on what men would consider the two most important parts of their body.
